Oh how momentous this occasion was and oooh how pretty and radiant you and Marykate look in your colorful and gorgeous finery!
EJ,
I just loved the photos of the festival and how beautiful you and MK look in your new outfits. I took the morning off to watch the inauguration and was thinking of you watching it half the world away. How proud today we all feel to be American. I am especialy proud that you are in Ghana this day as an unoffcial ambassador for your generation of Americans. I hope the inaugural address was inspiring to you, to your companions, and to the people of Ghana. It was a good speech. One I think your Dad would have liked...one I could easily see him make...given his strong beliefs regarding personal responsibility and patriotism. I can't waot to read more about how you experienced this very historical day! Love to you. Isha
